Services

Our legal staff members partner with foreign nationals to help them understand their choices and navigate the complexities and barriers of the U.S. immigration legal system. We provide free legal services to clients whose income is at 200 percent or below of the federal poverty guidelines. The immigration application process is confusing, especially for a non-native English speaker. Many immigrants are unable to afford legal assistance, which leaves them vulnerable to exploitation from unscrupulous notario fraud or simply bad advice from friends and neighbors. ILJ-MI’s staff provides legal services that are trustworthy, high-quality and ethical.
